About me
Ever since I was in high school, I've been adamant about portraying my style in a unique way. I experimented with different looks and hairstyles. I covered my room, from wall to wall with magazine photos. I had to express my creativity; it was a need for me. As cell phones evolved in the early 2000s, I would play around with taking pictures of my outfits. I didn't have a model so I practiced on myself, taking all sorts of photos - discovering what angles worked for my plus-sized body and how to make photos beyond bold.
Fast forward to today, I have a Canon camera - although I still shoot with my iPhone sometimes- I'm still experimenting with fashion, putting unexpected pieces together and capturing them on film. Along the way, I've had people give me the opportunity to take their photos and style them. I have been honored by that.
This has always been a hobby for me, but now I'm taking these gifts that God has blessed me with, seriously.

My family has made a point to help unsheltered people in our community by assembling what we call "Heart Bags" and passing them out to people on the streets. The bags are filled with water, hygiene products, some times a pair of socks/gloves, snacks, and a bible scripture.
